A note from Sudhir

I'm an ex-Google operator. I work with a small number of Australian businesses each quarter — directly, not through a team. If we work together, you'll have my mobile number.

Who Hupik typically works with

A small number of Australian operators each quarter — usually people running businesses with real customers, not chasing them.

01 — What's changing

Search didn't disappear. It just moved.

Customers used to type "physio near me." Now they ask ChatGPT, Gemini, or Google's AI summary — and three names come back. We help your business be one of them.

01 · Look

See what people actually find

We run the questions your customers ask — across Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini — and show you what comes back.

02 · Fix

Become an obvious answer

Most businesses are nearly findable. We tidy the site, listings, and references so search and AI tools can recommend you confidently.

03 · Watch

Track what changes

We re-run the same questions a month later. You see the difference in plain language — not a 40-page report.

A note on local discoveryField observation

What local discovery looks like now.

Best sports physio near Marrickville?
Google SearchMapsReviewsDirectoriesAI Answers

A question like that used to return a ranked list of ten links. Today it returns three businesses — pulled from a quiet mesh of local listings, reviews, directory entries, Google Business Profiles, and the words you put on your own pages.

Hupik works on the signals those systems read. We don't promise rankings — those aren't ours to give. We make sure that when a customer asks, the picture of your business is accurate, recent, and easy to quote.

How modern discovery worksA short, plain-language read

Three quiet steps, the same as they ever were — only the middle one changed.

01 — Discovery
Found

A customer asks a question — to Google, to Maps, to ChatGPT, to a friend. Your name is either part of the answer, or it isn't.

02 — Trust
Believed

What people read about you — reviews, descriptions, directory pages, AI summaries — has to match what's actually true. The smallest gap loses the customer.

03 — Conversion
Chosen

They book, call, walk in, or send a message. The work that gets them across the line is often quieter than the work that found them.

What changes for the business
  • Fewer missed leads
  • Clearer positioning
  • Stronger local visibility
  • Better Google Maps discoverability
  • Cleaner AI summaries
  • Stronger trust signals in reviews & directories
  • Easier follow-up on the enquiries you already get
  • More discoverable services, not just a homepage
02 — How we work

Start where it makes sense.

Some businesses begin with a Snapshot. Others need ongoing search growth, or operational support behind the scenes. There's no fixed path.

01

Search Growth Snapshot

An honest read of how your business shows up across Google, Maps, ChatGPT, Gemini, and AI summaries. Usually the place to start.

Fixed price · about a week
02

Search Growth Support

For businesses ready to act. We do the practical work — site, listings, content, references — so the changes ship, not just get recommended.

Fixed scope · a few weeks · you keep everything
03

Systems & Automation

When the work needs building. Lead follow-up, an AI front desk for after-hours enquiries, WhatsApp reminders, reporting.

Scoped per business · with Alvin and the senior network
04

Quarterly Check-in

For businesses we've worked with before. A light review every 90 days keeps the work compounding.

Optional · one short memo · one working session

Not sure which makes sense? Talk with Sudhir first — twenty minutes, no deck.

03 — Search Growth SnapshotsField notes from the work

Practical observations from looking at how real businesses get found.

Snapshots are short, anonymised notes from the work we do. Not case studies, not testimonials — just what we noticed when we looked, and what changed when we fixed it.

Note 03Physio clinic · Inner west, Sydney~ 4 min read

Three rooms, no website problem — and yet ChatGPT was sending people to a clinic that closed in 2022.

Their site was clean. Their Google reviews were strong. But for "best sports physio near Marrickville," AI tools were pulling from an old aggregator page that hadn't been updated in three years. The fix took an afternoon. The right kind of fix usually does.

Note 02Mortgage broker · Brisbane~ 3 min read

A broker with twelve years of experience, invisible to anyone asking an AI "who should I use."

They had referrals, repeat clients, and a quiet website that didn't mention half of what they actually did. AI tools answer with what's written down — not with what's true. Rewriting four pages, in the broker's own voice, was the whole job.

Note 01Accounting practice · Melbourne~ 5 min read

Five partners. One generic "About" page. The AI summary called them "a small firm in Victoria."

The story they told themselves — specialists in trades and construction — was nowhere on the site. We didn't write new copy; we surfaced what was already true. Two months later, that's what the AI tools were saying back.

Based inSydney · working nationally

Hupik is Sudhir Sharma. Operator, not agency.

I spent close to a decade at Google and Adobe — mostly in product operations, customer systems, and growth. Inside Google in particular, I worked close to the systems that decide which businesses get surfaced when someone asks a question online. The mechanics of those systems are changing faster now than at any point in the last twenty years.

I started Hupik because most Australian operators I spoke to had the same problem: they were doing good work, their customers were happy, and they had no idea why the AI tools their customers now use to find services kept recommending someone else. The fix is almost never a bigger marketing budget. It's a more honest, more legible version of what's already true about the business.

Hupik is small on purpose. A handful of businesses each quarter — physios, brokers, accountants, real estate agencies, RTOs, professional services, the occasional product-led founder. People I can answer the phone for, on a Wednesday afternoon, when something needs an actual human.

My only promise is that the work will be practical. No 40-page strategy deck. No platform to log into. No retainer that quietly renews. You'll know what we changed, why, and whether it worked.

Most engagements start with a Growth Snapshot. The easiest way to know if we'd work well together is to see one.

05 — Technical systems & automationA small senior network

When the work needs building, not just advising.

Some engagements end with a written plan. Others need the plan to actually ship — a new lead-routing flow, a reminder system, an AI front desk that handles after-hours enquiries. Hupik works with a small network of senior technical operators to do that work, with the same standards as the strategy.

We don't run a delivery team. Engagements stay small, named, and senior.

What Hupik is notSaid quietly, for clarity

Small by design. Practical by necessity.

Not
  • A giant SEO agency
  • Endless monthly reports
  • Outsourced content spam
  • A platform you have to learn
  • Growth-hacking theatre
But
  • A small, senior operator network
  • One memo, in plain language
  • Your pages, in your voice
  • Email, WhatsApp, the phone
  • Practical work, fixed scope

Longer field notes — anonymised studies of specific businesses — live in Search Growth Snapshots. We send a few each year by email, never on a schedule.

06 — Common questions

Honest answers.

If yours isn't here, write to Sudhir directly. He reads everything.

Partly. The old-fashioned SEO work — site structure, listings, citations — still matters. But the bigger shift is that customers are now asking AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Google's AI summaries) instead of typing keywords. We help with both, with more attention on the new behaviour.
Probably yes. Most of our work is with small and mid-sized operators — clinics, brokers, accountants, professional services, founder-run companies. Big agencies aren't set up to do this work practically; that's the gap Hupik exists for.
A Growth Snapshot is a fixed price, usually the cheapest way to start. Larger engagements are quoted up front and don't change. We'll tell you the number on the first call. No retainers.
No. A reasonable website helps, but most of the work is about clarity and accuracy — making sure what's already true about your business is findable and easy for AI tools to quote. We'll tell you honestly if a rebuild is worth it. Usually it isn't.
Some changes — directory hygiene, plain-language rewrites — show up in AI tools within a few weeks. Others take a quarter. We measure honestly. If something isn't working, we say so.
Australian businesses, mostly. Physios, mortgage and finance brokers, accountants, legal practices, allied health, trades, and the occasional product-led founder. If you're a real operator with real customers, you're the right fit.
07 — Ways to startLow pressure, in your own time

Some businesses start with a Snapshot. Others just want a practical conversation first.

Either is fine. There's no funnel, no follow-up sequence, and no platform to sign up for. Pick whichever feels right today.

01

Request a Growth Snapshot

A short, honest read of how your business shows up in modern search and AI tools. Fixed price, about a week.

For owners who already know they want a look.
02

Talk with Sudhir

A short conversation about your business — what's working, what isn't, and whether Hupik is the right thing for you right now.

Twenty minutes. No deck, no pitch.
03

The Quarterly Letter

Four short reads a year on what's actually changing in modern search and AI discoverability. Plain language, no marketing.

Sent four times a year, then not at all.
Or, even simpler —WhatsApp Sudhir a quick questionReplies usually within a working day. Australian hours.
